JORDAN WIDE BANDWIDTH

There are currently three drive units in our range, other models will be announced here in due time. All of which share a common philosophy of wide bandwidth, fast transient response and versatility in use. We have been asked about the variations in parameters on several occations. Please remember that computer derived parameters should only serve as a guidance when designing a speaker. Ted Jordan explains why in his article "The parameter game"

The JXR6 HD

is the descendent of the original 50mm Module. Thirty years of continuous development has resulted in the world's widest range 2" driver. This unit is capable of matching the fastest ribbon or electrostatic transducer.

The JXR6 HD is capable of operating singly or in stacked arrays and covers the range from 100Hz to beyond 30kHz. With today's interest in high resolution audio systems, this unit is capable of reaching ultra-sonic frequencies without the need for costly super-tweeters (most of which lack the resolving power of the JXR6 HD).

The JXR6 HD enables system design which places the crossover at 120Hz or below, well outside the sensitive mid to high frequencies.

JORDAN JX92S

The JX92S is the definitive full range driver, capable of operating from 40Hz to 20kHz.

The alloy, Contraflex cone is fast, well-controlled and, in a suitable enclosure, goes surprisingly deep. It allows the construction of speaker systems entirely free of crossovers with their potentially-troublesome phase and frequency distortions.

Fully shielded, it is ideal for use in home theatre applications.

JORDAN JX125 NG

The JX125NG (New Generation). This is the smaller brother of the
amazing JX150NG, but nevertheless a stunning performer spanning from 35 to 10 kHz, making it a good match for the JXR6HD in a 2 way system.

The new dual coil gives the designer a number of possibilities from single unit systems to tall linear arrays.

This is a true HighEnd product for bass-mid reproduction.

JORDAN JX150 NG

The JX150NG is our largest bass unit derriving from the JX150, but updated in all details, hence the "New Generation"
